The ISE program is designed to keep pace with current trends in technology. The curriculum covers core areas such as Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, Database Management, Computer Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, and Cloud Computing.

The Department of Information Science and Engineering (ISE) plays a pivotal role in the digital age by combining the disciplines of computer science, data management, networking, and information systems to solve real-world challenges.

Founded with a focus on developing professionals who are proficient in software development, data analytics, cybersecurity, and information systems design, the department bridges technology and problem-solving with societal relevance.

ISE engineers are trained to manage, process, and secure vast amounts of information while building applications that power industries—from healthcare and education to finance and e-commerce.

  1. Graduates will be able to use the knowledge and ability to write programs and integrate them with the hardware/software products in the domains of embedded systems, databases/data analytics, network/web systems and mobile products.
  2. Graduates will be able to use knowledge of Information Science in various domains to identify research gaps and hence to provide solution to new ideas and innovations.
