ECE STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT 2023-2024

1. Sagar R S, a final year student from Electronics and Communication Engineering Department has won Best Student Award from ISTE, Karnataka State Section for the year 2024.  He has demonstrated exceptional academic performance, exemplary leadership qualities, and has actively participated in various activities organized under the banner of ISTE and has won multiple Hackathon and Ideathon events.

2. Sushrutha, represented VTU university in South West zone Weight lifting held at Adikavi Nannayya university, Andhra Pradesh on 09/12/2023.

3. Sushrutha K T, got selected to the VTU Weight Lifting Team (Women) and participated in the South West Zone inter University Weight Lifting Championship which was held at Adikavi Nannaya University (AP), from 9th to 12th December 2023

4. Sagar R S , Afeez, Arshad, Bhavan, Prakash participated in Varnothsava , which was held at SMVITM Bantakal, Udupi on 27th Dec 2023 and won 1st place in Robo Soccer.

5. Sagar R S, Bhavan, Prakash participated in PLASMA- State level technical Symposium at JNNCE, Shimoga. They bagged 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in Robo Sumo and 1st & 2nd place in Robo Soccer and 2nd place in Robo Race

6. Afeez, Arshad, Bhavan, Sagar R S, Prakash bagged 2nd place in Soccer Bots in the event  CODEMEET held on 28th Oct 2023 at Srinivas University, Institute of Engineering & Technology, Mukka.

7. Afeez, Arshad, Bhavan, Sagar R S, Prakash, sudeep organized an event RC racing under the yentramana robotics club, which was an event called Yen quest organized for pre-university students at YIT.

8. Manya M M Secured Bronze Medal under 49 kg category in VTU State Level Weight lifting competition held at Vemana Institute of technology, Bangalore for academic

9. Savi S Chowta, Hitha S Chowta, Naeema Thasneem, Veekshitha bagged 2nd place in Mini Anveshana competition held at Yenepoya Institute of technology.

10. Sagar, Bhavan, Prakash, Khader Afeez, Mohammed Arshad bagged runner’s up trophy in Robo Soccer Competiition held at Sr Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatoreon 15^th February 2024 as a part of National Level Robot Technical Hunt 2K24 winning a Cash prize of Rs. 10000

11. Mr. Sagar, Mr. Khader Afeez and Mr. Anush  for won second prize  in Emerge IDEATHON 2024, an Unique Innovation Pitching Event organized by IFIA Bharat and Section Infin-8 Foundation (SI-8), Emerge 2024 - under the banner of Tapasya Beach Festival from 16^th – 18^th February, 2024 for the Novel Idea presented on topic:”Prayaschitta- A smart portable solar desalination system”

V SEM

1. Praneeth Shetty Secured Gold Medal under 61 kg category in VTU State Level Weight lifting competition held at Vemana Institute of technology on 1^st September 2023.

2. Aiswarya Gt, Syed Mustaqeem, Sheik Nasir, and Bilal Khan From 5^th Sem ECE have secured First Prize In the Line Follower competition held At Canara College Of Engineering, Benjanapadavu, Bantwal On

III SEM

1. Nithya  Secured Bronze Medal under 81 kg category in VTU State Level Weight lifting competition held at Vemana Institute of technology, Bangalore on 1st September 2023.

Ashwini B.C from ISE participated in the KhoKho event conducted by SKSVMA College Of Engineering & Technology on 2018

She was also participated secured fourth place in Inter-Collegiate Zonal Kabbadi Tournament:2019-2020 conducted by VSM’s SRKIT, Nippani on 11^th February 2019.

Sushma from ISE participated in the KhoKho event conducted by SKSVMA College Of Engineering & Technology on 2018. and she was also participated in the KhoKho event conducted by AIET on 2018

Best Project award by KSCST in the year 2020-21 received for the project guided by Prof. Sudhesh Shetty Project title: Design and development of rotary drum micro screen filter for recirculatory aquaculture application with minimal water loss
