The department of Engineering Physics forms the supporting department to various engineering disciplines. The staff members of the department are actively involved in many curricular, extracurricular activities of the college and also in research activities. The department is permitted to offer Ph.D/M.Sc (Engg.) by research programs from VTU, during the year 2012 - 2013. Currently, four research students are perusing Ph.D degree under VTU through Research Centre of Department of Physics.

D’Souza, Principal, presided over the function. Dr Santhosha Acharya, Coordinator of the workshop, briefed about the workshop.
