The department of Engineering Chemistry exists from the day of the inception of the college in 2008. The department caters basic science courses in Chemistry to all under graduate programs. The department practices Outcome Based Education since 2016. The department has well qualified and experienced staffs who involve themselves actively to achieve the vision and mission of the department.

Mission
1. To educate students by offering solid foundation in both theoretical and practical chemistry.
2. To stimulate the students in the study of engineering chemistry, through dedication to teaching, commitment to students and innovative pedagogy.
3. To offer support to the engineering programs in interdisciplinary problem solving in the domain of chemistry.
